Residency by Investment
If the applicant requests his residency for the "purchase of a property in his name (or in the name of an entity) with a price of USD$200,000", he must:

First, open a personal bank account in Panama.

Transfer the funds for the purchase of said property to your account in Panama; and

Acquire and finally register the property in your name in the Panamanian Public Registry.

Finally apply to Residency.
Bank Account Residency
If the applicant requests his residence for the "opening of a Fixed Term bank account", apart from the necessary bank forms, passport and copy of second identity; You must deposit "200,000 USD$ in your 3-year account" in a local Bank. For this, the bank will request "evidence of income in your country", understood by this:
